Floaters' fully-customizable main list is where you start. View open floaters, search through existing notes, open individual floaters or entire groupings at once.

  • Customize your main Floaters list's sections

    In Settings → List Windows → Main List you can change everything about Floaters' main list. Create, reorder, and customize sections to match your workflow.

  • Show task counts in list windows

    Floaters, groupings, and tags can have their completed/incomplete counts shown in list windows. Customize this and more in Settings → List Windows → Row Details.

  • Use Floaters' main list as your starting point

    Press ⌘⌥^⇧L from any app, or ⌘L from within Floaters to bring up the list window. Customize, create, and reorder sections (recent, currently open, favorites, etc) and display options in the Settings window.

  • Favorite commonly-used tags to see them in the main Floaters list

    The main Floaters list has fully customizable sections. But if you've got a tag you're using often, favorite it to have it appear there.
