In Picture Mode, please show small previews of all pictures on a note

I like "picture mode" and use it to have a floater with a few pictures I switch between for reference. But it would be helpful to see an overall view of all the pictures in the note without having to switch out of picture mode. Sort of like gallery view in the finder.
